Empty walls are blank spaces that could be used to add dimension and colour.
Of the many available options we could pick:
- Art work
- Pictures
- Paintings
- Play of lights
- Or mirrors
to accentuate these walls
We could do so in
- One large piece
- A cluster of smaller ones
- Or spread them wide along to add symmetry
If however you’re on a tight budget this is what you could do
Buy same/similar frames, arrange mirrors or artwork you like and group them as your massive piece of art!
PULL FURNITURE CLOSER TO MAKE CONVERSATION ZONES
Moving furniture to stick to the wall makes for far away seats eliminating a conversation zone.
While placing furniture make sure you work around how a group of people would seat themselves to have a conversation.
Also, leaving space behind the furniture helps energies to move around and add depth to the large space.
USING ROOM DIVIDERS OR PARTITIONS
In a sitting arrangement, it’s important how you enter and then how you exit.
Using ottomans or partitions as room dividers is a good option.
Sometimes people want a partial division which could be worked in various options
- Plants
- Partitions
- And even art
USE TALL PLANTS
Using tall plants helps add dimension, colour and so much life to and otherwise wide and large space, filling up the space in height.
USE MASSIVE CHANDELLIERS
Light is the life a space, so are the lighting fixtures, when doing up a large space look for an ever larger chandelier!
RUGS
Defining a zone can be done easiest with a rug.
In addition you get colour and warmth to an otherwise empty large space.
